Michael John Molloy was born on March 14, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up on the Northwest side of Chicago between Norridge and Elmwood Park and graduated form Holy Cross High School River Grove, Illinois.

Michael was raised as Master Mason on September 4, 1991 in Kelvyn Park-Willing Lodge No. 1075 in Chicago, Illinois. That same year he became a member of both the Scottish Rite Valley of Chicago and Medinah Temple. In 1997 Michael was given the honor to be elected Worshipful Master of his lodge during its 75th Anniversary. One of the joys for Michael is to bring into our fraternity a number of his friends who are still active participants in the Blue Lodge, Scottish Rite, York Rite and the Shrine.

In September of 2002 Michael was honored by the Valley of Chicago and the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Northern Masonic Jurisdiction by having the 33° the final and Last Degree conferred on him in Boston MA. Michael is past Sovereign Prince of Chicago Council Princes of Jerusalem Valley of Chicago. Since 1998 Michael has been a member of the Supreme Council Charitable Giving Executive Committee in charge of the State of Illinois. His responsibilities included the coordination of all of the fund raising efforts throughout the state for our 4 charities.

His membership in Masonic organizations include Life Memberships in the Grand Lodge of Illinois, Forest C. Mc Daniel Council No. 115, Oracle Chapter No. 253 and is a Past Grand Steward of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Illinois, Austin Commandery No. 84, Betsy Ross Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Scottish Rite Valley of Chicago and Medinah Temple. He is a Past President of Northwest Shrine Club and holds membership in Northwest, and Kankakee, Shrine Clubs as well as Medinah’s Past Master’s Unit and is a past member of the Shuban Shrine Club. Michael is a past Lieutenant and Treasure in the Medinah Motor Corps were he paraded and has participated on competition teams. He is an active member of the Great Lakes Association of Shrine Motor Corps as well as the International Association of Shrine Motor Corps. Michael has also been the Master of Ceremonies and Ceremonial Chairman for Medinah Shrine Center since 2005. He belongs to Masonic Societas Rosicruciana in Cibitatibus Foederatis, St. John’s Conclave Red Cross of Constantine and is a charter member and a Past Sovereign in Alvin L. Crump Council No. 389 Allied Masonic Degrees and a member of Illinois York Rite College No. 15.

Since moving to Naperville, Illinois Michael is also a Member of Euclid Lodge No. 65 where he assists the lodge serving on different committees.
